Bab 47: New housemate

Kael sat cross-legged on the couch inside his library. Earlier, he had been listening to the girl's conversation with the witch. The princess had no idea she was living with a witch, nor did she have any knowledge about the other supernatural beings around her. Kael wouldn't have bothered with that since there were plenty of other ignorant humans like her.

The only reason Kael was interested at the moment was because of what had happened between them the previous night. The girl wasn't a witch; if she were, he would have detected it immediately. He hadn't been able to take her blood until last night, and when he did... Kael touched his hair gently. He wanted to know what and who the girl was, and he could only do that if she remained beside him.
