Adrian paused, his gaze meeting hers once more. "Tell me if I'm going too far," he said.

Selene shook her head, her silver eyes glowing with trust. "You're not," she said softly, her hand brushing his cheek.

With a tenderness that surprised her, Adrian leaned down and kissed her again, his lips moving against hers with an undeniable desire. Selene closed her eyes, losing herself in the sensation.

This wasn't something she was used to, and she wasn't sure how far to go. But she could feel his longing, and it resonated with her own.
