Bab 200: Second Awakening, Ted Becomes A "Regressor"

When Ted's eyes landed on Linsley, there was no recognition in them. The memories of the previous timeline had not carried over to this one.

But the moment Ted's gaze shifted to Lucy, his reaction was instant. Despite the golden chains binding her, or perhaps because of them, Ted's eyes widened with raw emotion.

"Lucy..." he whispered, his voice trembling.

A year of separation and suffering had done little to dull his bond with her.

Ted's expression shifted from despair to fury as he watched Lucy struggle helplessly in the chains.

Overwhelmed by the physical and mental trauma he had endured in Lab Theta-9, and now faced with the sight of Lucy restrained, Ted clenched his fists, his body trembling with rage.

"LET GO OF HER!" Ted screamed, his voice raw and desperate, an outpouring of frustration and helplessness that had been building for far too long.
