Bab 58: Maybe She’s Pissed  

I let out a long sigh as I looked around. I was buried up to almost my armpits in the snow. While I couldn't actually feel the negative temperature, I still couldn't stop my body's reaction to shiver. I knew how cold snow was, and my body was trying desperately to warm me up, even if it didn't have to.

Gabriel, realizing that something was wrong when my teeth started knocking together, asked me what was wrong.

"I need to get out of the snow," I grunted.

"Initializing boosters to 10%," he replied and I could feel the thrusters under my boots starting up. But unfortunately for me, 10% was not enough to get me out of my current situation.

"Increasing to 25%," said Gabriel when he realized the same thing I had.
