Bab 152: A Risky Play

Standing on the field under the overcast sky, Sota Kazemachi scanned the opposing team, his eyes narrowing with focused determination. Fujisato High was no joke. Their jerseys gleamed under the stadium lights, their stances relaxed yet ready for battle. But even though their posture screamed confidence, none of the players looked familiar. Not a single face jogged Sota's memory. No matter, though. Underestimating them would be a mistake, and he wasn't about to fall into that trap.

Clenching his fists, Sota felt the nerves tingling in his muscles, not from fear, but from the anticipation coursing through him. His breath came steady as he turned to his teammates. They were lined up behind him, waiting, watching, trusting him to lead them through what could be their hardest game yet.

"We don't know what these guys are capable of," Sota spoke evenly, keeping his tone measured. "So, we're gonna figure it out right from the start."
