"General Kim..." Asura entered the room politely as General Kim nodded for a permission. The man put a scroll on the table before took his sit on the chair in front of his general.
"Any new leads?" asked General Kim in a calm voice.
"Nothing so far. But the gathering happened again, at least thrice for the past two months," Asura replied. "It gets frequent compared to the previous observation."
"Perhaps, they were trying to rearrange strategies. I heard jeonha mama announced the recovering news..."
"The operation... Succeed?" Asura looked at General Kim with a surprise look.
"Seems like it is, Asura. Daegum jaga is in recovering phase. He'll be back soon," General Kim smiled, however, not for long. "It's a good news for us. But, a bad news from the other side," the man continued with a bitter look.
"They look at him as a threat now..."
"It's crystal clear. More, jeonha mama suggested that daegum jaga should handle the financial department as soon as he comes back from China. His first post ever," said General Kim.
Asura sighed. It's good that the royal has put an interest in Min Jun. But, they perhaps unaware about his safety, as right now, the second prince will be exposed.
"Handling the kingdom's treasure... It's a hot seat indeed..."
"More like a mark that the kingdom has been watching the monetary situation. Any misconduct will be handle by daegun with transparency," General Kim sighed, tapping his finger on the table.
"Did jeonha mama aware of the situation?"
"Which situation?" asked General Kim.
"The safety issue of daegun?"
General Kim nodded. His expression turned even more worried than before.
"I did told mama about that. But, once he learned that the operation succeed, he said there's nothing to be afraid anymore. He is convinced that daegum jaga can take care of himself now," the old man replied with a long gush along his words.
"The threat is still there, General! Even if daegum jaga protects himself, we can't dismiss the idea of the attempted assassination had been happened before," Asura started to get antsy.
"There's nothing we can do except to protect him while looking for any evidence that relate seja jeoha with the case," General Kim straight up his body and looked at Asura. " Remember, this is a serious case. If we make a false accusation, our head will be on stake. Not only us, maybe our family as well."
Asura gulped, staring at General Kim with his eyes waver a bit. It's a hard task for him and Indra, but now, it's even more challenging.

"Abeonim..."
General Kim patted Soo Young's back, looking at the girl with mixed feeling. As a father, he was glad that finally Soo Young got married, but at the same time he felt a little bit disappointed that Soo Young chose to elope rather than having a true wedding.
"Where's your husband? Afraid to see us, huh? After managed to steal you from the family, now he's chicken out to meet us!" from the kitchen, Lady Kim came out with her thunderous voice. She glared at her only child, giving her a deathly stare.
Soo Young could only snickered a bit. She hugged Lady Kim from behind while looking at General Kim who already sat down and enjoy his tea. The man was good in concealing his expression, but as a daughter who has a close relationship with her father, Soo Young knew General Kim was angry as well.
"Have you visit the Ki?" asked General Kim.
"Why should she visits them?! The Ki should visit us first and apologize!"
"Ma..."
"What?! Did I say something wrong?! That scoundrel just tricked my daughter into marry him! No family invited, no blessing! Your ancestors might curse me in Heaven!"
Soo Young laughed as she imagined how her Ah Kong might flipped up if he learned about the sudden marriage. Lucky for her, that old man had been dead for ages!
"Ah Kit and Fan Fei were there during the registration. Ah Kong will understand..."
"That two bastards should be grilled in Hell as well!" Soo Young giggled more while watching Lady Kim cursed her Chinese cousins. They were not here, but, it seemed like a good choice for them to stay at China.
"Did you wear a good dress?" asked General Kim, whispered slowly at Soo Young after the girl left Lady Kim alone, babbling by herself.
"I did. Thanks for the money, abeonim..." Soo Young smiled. General Kim nodded. He still enjoyed his tea while watching his beloved wife walking here and there, fuming non stop about the wedding.
"Abeonim, are you mad at me?" a sudden question for Soo Young made General Kim smiled a bit.
"I did," he answered to her shortly. "But, I understand how much Dan loves you. It's not wrong to choose the path that you believe the best for you. And, I'm glad that at least you told me," said General Kim before he patted Soo Young's hand.
"Actually, Dan insisted because he was afraid that Ki won't allow this marriage to happen. They are royalty, and for them, Dan should marry a royalty as well. The idea of marry me definitely isn't a good one. Plus, I'm from the mixed family. It's not a good thing for the bloodline..."
"Jeoha mama wed someone not from here as well..."
"At least, manora jaga is from the royal family. Even though she's from the west. The case is different, abeonim..."
General Kim finally gave up. The reason given by Soo Young was a good one. The Ki wanted to preserve the royal bloodline. And now, Dan was the first to tarnish the reputation when he married Soo Young, whom her mother originated from China with no royal blood. Even General Kim wasn't from any royal family, he was just a military general who started as a normal child from a humble military family.
"How will we face them now?!" asked Lady Ki. She stumbled on her seat, after nagging for some times. Perhaps, she's tired already.
"Since daegum jaga is still in China, we have no choice but to seek a help from seja jeoha. At least, he can persuade the Ki to accept the marriage before we arrange a meet with them," said General Kim.
"Send someone to meet jeoha then," Lady Kim's suggestion was later revoked by General Kim.
"In this case, we should meet jeoha mama personally. Sending someone means we're arrogant and acting disrespectful towards The Ki. I'll meet him myself."
"No, abeonim. I think, I'm the one who should meet him myself for help. You shall meet jeonha mama, just in case if jeoha mama can't help us," Soo Young gave a suggestion to General Kim. The man finally nodded.
"Fine then. Tomorrow, let's visit the Emerald Dragon..."
The father-daughter exchange looks with a smile stamp on their face.
Who knows, that's the last time General Kim saw that smile, because after that, all he could see was her despair on her face and her voice screaming for help.
"Abeonim! Help!!!"
