Like a chameleon, James changed his expression and became serious. "She was sent to the capital. I don't know if she's at the Watsons or not. My connections didn't penetrate the family. Why not call her?"

"My phone calls are being monitored. They're after my wife and daughter."

James' eyes widened. No wonder they knew where to find him. He was wondering how they knew where he was. Turned out his phone calls were being monitored.

"What are you going to do now? She must be very worried."
