Bab 194: Surprise

Valerie's laughter mingled with protests as Greg strode to the door. "Hey, I've not done my hair and makeup!" She flailed her legs in the air, trying to wriggle free from Greg's grasp.

Greg chuckled, holding her tighter. "Don't worry, you'll do your makeup in the car." His confident tone only fueled Valerie's curiosity.

As they reached the door, Valerie's struggles subsided, replaced by anticipation. What did Greg have planned? And why the sudden rush? She gazed up at him, searching for clues, but his smile revealed nothing.

With a gentle push, Greg opened the door, revealing a sleek black limousine waiting outside. A uniformed chauffeur stood at attention, the car door open and inviting. Valerie's eyes widened as Greg carried her towards the luxurious vehicle.
