Bab 168: Chapter 168: Dawn Cedar Heaven

Just as they were on their way back, the heavens opened up again without warning.

The group was caught off-guard and soon became as drenched as drowned rats.

"The weather here is really odd, bursting into rain without any signs," Bai Sasa grumbled as she ran.

Bai Junjun glanced at the sky-ladder-like mountain walls and sighed, "I'm afraid it's because we're right below the North-South River. This area is low-lying and humid, so frequent rain and fog are normal."

They hurried back to their shelter, and despite it being summer, the hollow was still very cool. Even the robust Bai Sasa couldn't stop sneezing.

Bai Junjun told her to start a fire there and then ran out again.

"Where are you going, elder sister?"

Now Xiao Shan also started to address Bai Junjun as 'elder sister,' just like Bai Sasa did.

To Bai Junjun, "sister," "big sister," "old sister," and "elder sister" made no difference. She didn't mind or try to correct them; they could call her whatever they wanted.
