Bab 71: Murder

The State Order. 

Otherwise known as the Royal Guard, the Royal Guard are an elite group of assassins who stand at the apex of the assassination hierarchy. They are tasked with protecting the royal family of the Sovereign State and managing high-priority affairs. 

It is composed of four members referred to as Lords, each of whom oversee a specific region of the State based on the cardinal directions—

The Lords are entrusted with unparalleled authority second only to the crown, to ensure that no threat could destabilize the monarchy or its territories. 

Maintaining balance within the world of assassins is their third highest priority. With individual skill and might to surpass even a Dragon Rank assassin, maintaining balance is easy for them. 

The Sects under their supervision are closely monitored, with each Lord maintaining a vast network of operatives and resources to execute their moves when the need arises.
