Bab 55: 055 Dragon shows its head but not its tail

Chu Nanxi lifted her gaze in surprise, looking at the man standing before her.

He appeared to be in his thirties, with a tall figure clad in a well-fitting, slate blue suit. A pair of wide-rimmed glasses concealed the sharpness of his eyes, and the corners of his lips were slightly upturned beneath a straight nose.

His demeanor was cultured and dignified, his smile warm and gentle.

Standing before her was none other than the film emperor, Tang Yao.

He knew her?

Chu Nanxi's surprise lingered on her face for no more than two seconds before being replaced by composure.

"Mr. Tang, you know me?"

Her knowing him wasn't out of the ordinary, but the fact that he knew her name was somewhat strange.

"I've heard Director Song mention you..." Tang Yao smiled, tilting his chin toward her, "besides, you are on the 'Counting the Romantic' crew."

Chu Nanxi lowered her face, then noticed the temporary work badge hanging on her chest that the crew had prepared for her.
