Wen Wan clenched her fingers into fists, then slowly relaxed them. When she left the study, she saw Xiaoguai standing at the door, expressionless as he watched her.

Her irritation was soon replaced by a strong sense of guilt, and she wanted to reach out and touch Xiaoguai's head, but he avoided her.

Wen Wan was a bit stunned to see Xiaoguai run back into the room without turning his head, her hand slowly retracting from the air.

Was she being isolated?

After taking a shower, Wen Wan hesitated for a moment before deciding to knock on Xiaoguai's room door.

There was no response, but the door was unlocked.

When Wen Wan pushed the door and entered, she saw Xiaoguai turn away on the bed, his back toward her.

"Darling? I'll tell you a story!" Wen Wan hooked the corner of her lips slightly, smiling as she approached.

The little guy on the bed didn't move or make a sound.
