Changbai Mountain is the source of the Yalu River, the Songhua River, and the Tumen River, with a total area of 1,964 square kilometers.
And Changbai Mountain, located within the Huaxia territory, has its highest peak, Baiyun Peak, at an altitude of 2,691 meters.
Baiyun Peak is also the highest peak in the Northeast of our country.
As everyone knows, Sects stand tall across the major rivers north and south of our country, a mountain, an island, or a lake might all be home to a Sect!
And on Baiyun Peak, there stands a Sect as well, named: Changbai Temple.
Changbai Temple was a Sect that rose during the Qianlong Period of the Qing Dynasty.
After the Manchu Dynasty took control of the Central Plains, Tibetan Esoteric Buddhism became unprecedentedly active.
