Lan Yudie hurriedly crawled into the bed.

Xiao Han immediately wrapped her in his arms. His warm skin and the smoothness of his touch were incredibly comforting. A sly smile curled at the corners of Xiao Han's lips. He chuckled and then asked, "Did you enjoy that just now?"

"Not at all!" Lan Yudie shook her head and said, "You're a liar. You said one thing, but then you did this—and that!"

Embarrassed to say the words out loud, Lan Yudie used "this" and "that" as euphemisms. Xiao Han naturally understood her meaning. He laughed and said, "I did it because I didn't want you to get tired, so I tried different positions."

"Go away!" Lan Yudie huffed softly.

The two slept entwined. Lan Yudie was already feeling uncomfortable, as well as incredibly weary. She was exhausted. Once she lay down, especially in Xiao Han's arms, she felt so comfortable that she fell asleep in no time.
