"You were looking for me?" the man asked, puzzled, as he looked at Xiao Han.

"Yes," Xiao Han nodded and said, "I'm a student from Shuimu University. I'm here today because my classmate fought a thief. What do you think?"

"The one with the temper?" the man snorted coldly and said, "I won't release him. He broke someone's ribs, and the person was sent to the hospital. This is a typical case of intentional injury."

"But, he stole my classmate's wallet," Xiao Han asked.

"Stealing a wallet is just theft," the chief said with a faint smile, then added, "But what he did was intentional harm."

"If it hadn't been for the thief stealing the wallet, my classmate wouldn't have chased him," Xiao Han countered and argued forcefully, "And if the thief hadn't tried to attack him, why would he have fought back? All of this was just to protect his own legitimate interests. How could it be considered intentional injury?"

"Humph, do I call the shots here, or do you?" the chief sneered.
