"I finally have my driver's license," Xiao Han laughed. "Now I can drive on the road without any worries."

"How could I push you to buy a car if you didn't have a license?" Li Dapang said with a grin.

"Hehe..." Xiao Han chuckled.

Li Dapang drove Xiao Han and Yang Lu back home.

Yang Lu's home was already empty; Mother Yang had passed away, leaving only Yang Lu in the cold house. Xiao Han stayed to keep her company. When they returned to the house, Yang Lu couldn't help but cry. Seeing every familiar scene at home triggered her tears. After all, the sudden departure of a family member makes it hard to adjust.

"Don't cry," Xiao Han softly comforted, saying, "The dead can't be brought back to life."

"But I feel so bad," Yang Lu sobbed, saying, "My mom worked hard all her life and never lived a single day in peace. If it wasn't for you, I might not have even had the money for the funeral. Xiao Han, thank you, I can never repay your kindness in this lifetime."
