Bab 114: Chapter 114: Old Liu's Tears

"What are you talking about, kid!" Mother Xiao retorted, not amused.

Xiao Han chuckled.

Mother Xiao took out five hundred yuan and gave it to Xiao Han, "Go buy some things for Old Liu and Auntie Zhang."

"Okay!" Xiao Han nodded.

With that, he immediately pocketed the five hundred yuan and headed out.

Xiao Han decided to first check on Old Liu's situation since he had rarely seen him at the factory lately and didn't know whether it was because he was busy or for some other reason. Moreover, seeing the situation for himself would help in understanding what Old Liu's family was in need of. After all, none of the families in the factory were wealthy. Giving something useless out of the blue could end up doing more harm than good.

Old Liu's home was near the factory entrance, in the third row of bungalows, behind which they had built a simple shack. Only Old Liu and his wife lived there.
