Bab 7: Chapter 7 The Spider That Left

"Are you going to stay here or leave together?"

Wayne didn't care at all about the raging fire in the building behind him.

He was well aware of the power of the incendiary bombs he had thrown.

As long as the contraband factory down there is like that guy said, there is no one there.

Then this fire is destined not to cause any casualties.

The only thing destroyed was the contraband underneath.

"To be honest, I'm not quite sure where we are going next?" Spider-Man spoke to Wayne quite calmly.

"Find a suitable place and sort out our current identities." Wayne had already started his actions while speaking.

"OK, you are the boss now, I'll listen to you." Spider-Man didn't want to continue wasting his brain cells on this aspect.

The intensity of today's work has indeed reached my own standards.

"Wait, you mean bearing false witness?" But only after leaving with Batman did Spider-Man understand what Wayne meant.

What does it mean to get to grips with your current identity?

Isn't that false testimony?

"That's a crime, man." Spider-Man suddenly jumped in front of Batman.

He spoke to Wayne with a serious face.

Wayne narrowed his eyes and looked at Spider-Man in front of him: "We have always been criminals, haven't we?"

"How is that possible? Now that we have this power, shouldn't we take on our responsibilities? And isn't it our mission to stop those guys from committing crimes?"

Spider-Man was extremely excited and he objected to what Batman expressed.

He only knew that if he had understood what "the greater the ability, the greater the responsibility" meant after possessing this power, he would never have lost his Uncle Ben.

"Are you a police officer?"

Wayne spoke indifferently.

Spider-Man shook his head, "No, it's not."

"Are you a law enforcer?"

"no."

"So what do you think you are doing?" Wayne didn't want to say anything more.

Once again disappeared in front of Spider-Man.

Spider-Man wanted to stop Wayne from leaving, but now he needed to think carefully about what Wayne had said before.

What Batman said really shocked Spider-Man's mentality.

He needs some quiet time now.

It is best not to follow the bat for a short period of time.

At least after I have sorted out all the words that can refute the bat, I can find this stinky bat and have a good talk with him.

After shooting out spider silk again, Spider-Man now needs to find a place to calm down.

But he didn't see that as soon as he left there, Wayne had already appeared on the fire escape downstairs.

Calmly watched Spider-Man leave.

"What you just said was a big blow."

Thomas' words appeared in Wayne's mind.

"Aren't people like us always criminals?" Wayne didn't think there was anything wrong with what he said.

"Besides, if this kind of words can discourage a mature Spider-Man, then he doesn't deserve to be called Spider-Man."

When Wayne said this, his words highlighted ruthlessness.

"By the way, what is Spider-Man anyway? You seem somewhat familiar with this world, but not much."

Thomas had thought about asking Wayne what he had been through.

Although he is dressed as Batman, he has an understanding of a world he has never seen before.

"You can think of this as a replica of the heroic universe." Wayne jumped down from the fire escape. When Wayne was about to land on the ground, the cloak behind him suddenly unfolded, slowing down his fall.

To Thomas, after hearing Wayne's words, he didn't think that his world was a so-called heroic universe.

He only felt that his world was a paradise for crazy people with super powers. Amazon and Atlantis were at war, flooding half of Europe.

A cyborg is always thinking about getting himself into a so-called resistance army.

All of this did not make Thomas feel that he had anything to do with being a hero.

Even if he himself is not.

He was just like Wayne said.

They are all criminals, he is even a murderer.

"What you do may be considered quite consistent with the ideas of some people in this universe." Thomas did not say anything, but Wayne spoke instead.

"Yeah?"

"It's just that guy is more extreme." Wayne walked towards the vehicle in front of him.

Fortunately, Wayne did find a set of casual clothes there that allowed him to take off his combat suit.

As an apology for taking the other person's clothes, Wayne put down a stack of US dollars.

After taking off his mask, Wayne used the rearview mirror of the vehicle to clearly see what he looked like in this world.

To be honest, at this moment Wayne might have understood why the Joker in the comics thought so highly of the appearance of the Bat.

Even in the mouth of a madman it can be judged as perfect.

With his meticulously carved and perfectly defined features, perhaps in the eyes of women, Wayne can definitely be considered sexy now.

Especially those pair of melancholy blue eyes.

No matter who looks into those eyes, it is impossible to look away easily.

"Nice face." After praising the face, Wayne began to change his clothes.

The only drawback is that the original owner of this suit might have been a fat guy who ate too many hamburgers.

Even Wayne's marble-sculpture-like body is still a little too fat.

However, it is perfect as a transition.

Wayne even found a travel backpack in his carriage, which at least could replace the bag that looked like it was from robbery.

Put on a baseball cap, snap the hood of a hoodie, and carry a backpack full of US dollars.

Wayne left here.

A man walking down the street with ill-fitting clothes won't cause anyone to think there's anything wrong with him.

There are so many homeless people in New York that it's hard to keep up with them.

He gestured to the taxi that was still working outside.

A yellow taxi had already stopped in front of Wayne.

"New York University." Wayne got into the taxi and spoke without waiting for the driver to say anything.

"No problem." The driver didn't say anything and started the taxi directly.

"But let me make this clear, if you don't have money, I will beat you up." The driver glanced at Wayne who was sitting in the back seat while driving.

The clothes were extremely ill-fitting, and although there was no strange smell, the driver still thought they were homeless.

Wayne simply picked up the newspaper in the back of the taxi and began to gain a comprehensive understanding of the world.

For him, only by understanding most of the conditions in this world can he create an identity that best suits this world.

"OK, it seems you are a dull person."

Seeing that Wayne had no intention of talking to him, the taxi driver could only keep the rest of his words in his stomach.

He had some hope that Wayne really wouldn't have any way to pay the fare after arriving at the station.

That way he could at least give this stinky guy a good beating and vent his anger.

There was no conversation along the way. When they finally arrived at New York University, the driver was about to turn around and ask Wayne to pay, but Wayne was nowhere to be seen in the back seat.

All that was left was a hundred dollar bill and a gentle breeze.

"Oh, my god~" The driver stared at all this in a daze.
