I kept up the grin on my face as I drove home.

I'd left Elsa at her office. After that… intense physical activity, she'd wanted to get more work in. Apparently, her creative juices were flowing, if you get what I mean.

That woman was a workaholic. Both in business and in bed.

My grin somehow grew wider as the memories returned to the forefront of my mind.

I finally got to the apartment and after parking, went up to my penthouse. I made my way to the kitchen's island where my laptop was waiting. I'd kept up the tradition of doing important work in the kitchen even in this new house.

I booted up the laptop and checked my email. What I was waiting for hadn't arrived. They'd assured me they'd get it done by today.

I sighed. Maybe they hadn't finished up with it. Just in case, I'll wait.

In the meantime, I decided to check my status and see where I stand.
