Bab 168: The meaning of love and being loved

In the dimly lit hotel room, The air felt thick and oppressive, suffocating Hirvan with each passing second as if a rope was hung around his neck. 

Hirvan stood face to face with the man he hated to his bones, who had destroyed the lives of everyone he loved. The appearance of this man broke the seal on his memories, and the images he had desperately buried rushed back into his head like a wave.

His hands had gone icy cold, trembling uncontrollably as if they were submerged in freezing water. He felt his lungs struggling to draw enough air to ease his breathing. His heart pounded so violently in his chest, loud enough that drowned out all other sounds to nothingness. His body shook harder until his teeth were chattering. 

'Why? How?'

Even his mind could not form a coherent thought. 

But all of a sudden, a voice called to him, jolting him awake, and stopping his body from going into a full panic attack. 

"Hirvan…."
