Bab 250: Story 250: Betrayal in the Wasteland

As dawn broke over the wasteland, Damien and Mira continued along the barren path, both exhausted from the skirmish on the bridge and Bishop’s sudden betrayal. The air was thick with a tense silence, broken only by the soft crunch of gravel beneath their boots. Damien’s mind whirred with thoughts of their fractured alliance, while Mira clutched the amulet, her resolve harder than ever.

Their destination was the notorious Warden’s Post—a fortified settlement said to hold critical intel on the Zombie King’s movements.
