Bab 48: A LITTLE CHRISTMAS MAGIC

One year passed, and everything seemed different. I was bigger, wiser, older—definitely hotter. Now in ninth grade, life had a new rhythm. Fiona and I were finally in the same class, and I’ll admit, it was like having a blast in hell by the way.

School wasn’t a drag anymore; it actually became fun. Most of the time, I was busy breaking up the fights Fiona managed to stir up. Like I always say, puberty, it favored her way too much. She got prettier by the day, and of course, guys couldn’t keep their comments to themselves, inside or outside of school.

But I had to admit, Fiona was more than just looks. She was fun, loud, and always ready to stir things up.

And as for me? Well, I made sure I stayed on top of my class. I pulled all-nighters when I needed to, yet kept that "cool, laid-back Chester" vibe during the day.

Not too much, not too little.
