"Muzan-sama," Hatsumi said in a loud but gentle voice, noticing that Muzan was once again lost in his thoughts. It was clear that Hatsumi was growing a bit nervous at this point.
With only a month and a half left until Muzan turned 20 years old, and if Hatsumi's medicine didn't work and Muzan actually died, her head would be flying high by Muzan's father's katana.
Not that his father loved him that much, but Hatsumi was the one who had stepped forward and said, "Nah, I can fix him," to Muzan's father, promising to cure him.
And now, if she couldn't do it, she would die. According to her, she could even fix Muzan's personality, but whatever the hell was wrong with him was honestly way more attractive.
It seemed that, regardless of the era, hot psychopaths always had their admirers or you can say simps.
"Muz-" Hatsumi began to say something again, but suddenly Muzan snatched the bottle of medicine from her hands and gulped it down in a single breath.
Seeing this, Hatsumi's face filled with confusion as she watched Muzan take all of the medicine on his own volition without any drama.
You see, during the Heian period, all medicines used to taste like literal shit (don't ask me how I know that).
Back to the point, medicines in this era taste terrible, and when Muzan takes them, he usually makes a face as if Hatsumi had fed him poison instead of medicine.
Though there were rare occasions when he took it without any drama, they were so scarce that you might see Sakura being useful more often than Muzan taking his medicine without any fuss.
"Muzan-sama, you're acting very strange today," Hatsumi said with a chuckle, only to be ignored by Muzan as if nothing had been said.
Seeing him behave like this, Hatsumi felt her veins on the verge of popping out. This little shit was clearly ignoring her, though she understood it might be because of his memory loss.
But still, it angered her. What could she even do? She couldn't hit Muzan or anything.
"Muzan-sama, since you've taken the medicine, you should re-" Hatsumi was about to tell Muzan to rest before she noticed he was already asleep.
"Was today's medicine too strong?" Hatsumi wondered as she observed Muzan. Well, it wasn't that uncommon for Muzan to pass out rather quickly because of the medicines Hatsumi made.
Since there weren't really any properly recognized medicines, only experiments with many side effects like this.
Though she didn't think today's medicine was strong enough to make him fall asleep so quickly, especially since the main ingredient of the medicine was a simple flower called "Blue spider lily," which is harmless and can't really cause any harm to a person.
Muzan's POV
"Haha! I can become the demon king again now," I thought as I gulped down this entire bottle of medicine, which tasted like shit. But I had no other choice since it was this same medicine that made me a demon in my past life.
Though it's just a prototype right now, who cares? I can become immortal once again, and that's enough.
But suddenly, I felt very sleepy, as if all the energy from my body was draining away. I wasn't really that surprised since this had happened in my past life after I took this medicine.
"It's just a canon event, nothing to worry about," I thought as I closed my eyes, only to see the same void I had seen after my death in both my previous lives.
It was really comforting, warm, and there was no one here to harm me.
I could easily stay here forever if not for the fact that I knew this void-like state was not real, and I would die if someone just stabbed my body in the real world.
But suddenly some information started to enter my mind and after getting those information, I was really shocked to say atleast.
"What the! I already became a demon," I exclaimed in my mind—or yelled, I don't know which words can describe my situation, since I don't really have a physical body in this void-like place.
But back to the point, the information that just entered my mind—or whatever it is—was about my Blood Demon Arts. Yeah, you heard it right, Blood Demon "Arts."
It wasn't shocking to me that I became a demon so quickly, but the fact that I had three Blood Demon Arts in this life was surprising.
This may be related to the fact that I've lived three lives so far: first as Muzan in Demon Slayer, second as Muzan in the modern era, and now in this shitty AU.
Though I think I transmigrated here, not reincarnated, but who cares.
My Blood Demon Arts are pretty sick, to be honest. And I already have most of the information about them.
Blood Demon Arts are like Mangekyou Sharingan—powers are random, and even if you don't knew shit about them before, you can use them effortlessly like nothing just a second after awakening them.
"I will fuck you up yoriichi" I thought after All the information about my blood demon arts entered my mind.
