Bab 63: Helicopters, Hospitals, and Police

Ana felt the straps cinch down over her and the heavy blanket that she had been covered with. Her line of vision followed the hands up to the face of the man above her. She watched the man above as he secured her. 

Ana caught his arm with her hand. "Thank you." She rasped almost no sound making it out of her ruined throat, but he nodded before turning to do the same for his sister. Melissa was staring at her with her face covered in blood. Ana caught the woman's hand and squeezed it. Melissa gave the tiniest smile; she had helped save the queen and in doing so truly earned her position in the Royal Navy. 

Ana suddenly cried out bending inward and Nicholas began to rub her back while Scott crouched by her legs not sure what to do to help.
