Bab 8: Match's end and conversation
~POV Momo Yaoyorozu~
'So its his eye quirk, pretty... its almost like he sees everything with it...'
"Yaoyorozu-san i think we should stop here, the match is already decide... unless you sill have something up your sleeve."
Akira-san prompts me to stop the match here but i can't abandon like that.
'I know, he is far stronger than i am and already saw through my traps. But as he said i still have things up my sleeve.'
I take the metal stick i made at the beginning of the match and attack him. I practiced martial arts for a long time but that will not be enough to beat him.
"Ha!"
I thrust my weapon toward him, he dodged with a half-step to the side. I followed with, roundhouse kick, he then deviate the kick with palm of his hand.
For the next three minutes i attack him restlessly but he either dodged or deviated it as if it was nothing particular
'His eyes... his pupils move rapidly as if analyzing all my movements...'
I decide to turn this against him. Retreating toward the bomb behind me i create and threw Russian dolls at him.
His silver eyes narrowed, but he stand still. The dolls touch revealing flash-bangs inside.
BANG...
The flash-bangs exploded right before him
'Now!'
i kick the ground runing toward him holding electric batons in each of my hands and hit him in the stomach.
'I got him, the electric shock will stun him!'
But something unexpected happens next
Poof
he disappears in white smoke. My face contorts in disbelief not realizing what was happening
Clap... Clap... Clap
I hear a clapping sound behind me, behind me was Akira-san sitted on top of the bomb clapping his hands
'I don't understand! why is he here? wasn't i fighting him just a few seconds ago?'
"I'm impressed, you actually beat my clone. It seems that i underestimated you... i'm sorry for that."
His words shook me to my very core
'A clone? He can make clones?'
"Hero team WIIIIIIIIN"
I don't want to accept… that I lost so easily
'I couldn't do anything…'
"Don't be so hard on yourself. I'm genuinely impressed by your performance."
Akira-san gets down from the bomb and approaches me. When i looked in his eyes, who returned to their original appearance, i can see his sincerity. His wasn't saying it only to cheer me up.
"You lost because i was your opponent. I identify as a shinobi and adept of traps."
i can't see his entire face with his mask but i can picture his smile underneath
'I know it is rude to pry'
"Do your eyes have the ability to see at a faster rate and precision than normal eyes?"
Akira-san's reaction is not what i expected.
"AHAHA... I see you figured that out huh? Yes indeed it is as you said its part of the sharingan's abilities but not the only ones."
'I see... he didn't even try to win against me...'
seeing my state, Akira-san resumes
"I said don't be so hard on yourself. Your calmness even in desperate situations and your quick mind are impressive. You only lack experience but I'm sure that you are able to give the likes of Bakugo a run for their money."
His words were were kind but sincere. Genuinely acknowledging my ability, somehow... This is embarrassing...
~POV: Akira~
The different Matches ended without much trouble only Midoriya and Mineta were injured, which earned me a little reminder from All Might "sensei".
'I regret nothing'
After All Might dispersed the class only he and me are the only ones left
"So? Is the seal working well?" i asked him
"Yes! Thanks to you my limits increased drastically, I feel like I'm young again!"
All Might answers enthusiastically
"Hold your horses a little, you know very well that since you gave OFA to Midoriya your powers will be permanently lost no matter what."
Silence floated between us. He knows it as well too. I know it's a burden on his mind
"Anyway lets go to the infirmary. i will heal Midoriya since he is badly injured."
"Thank you young Uchiha."
After i changed back into my uniform. All Might and i reache the infirmary. We saw Midoriya unconscious on the bed.
"All Might! This is the third time he injured himself already why don't you stop him?"
Recovery girl began to scold All Might but i interrupted her
"Recovery girl-sensei can i heal Midoriya so that he can go with me in class?"
Seems like she just noticed my presence
"Ah. Its you young man, yes your healing abilities will work just fine. Go ahead."
I then began to heal Midoriya's arms with My Vitality Palm (Yes i gave it this name).
while i am concentrated in his treatment recovery girl calles out to me
"So you know about OFA young man?"
"Yes i figured that his quirk was strange and linked to All Might thanks to my sensory Abilities. By the way all Might."
"Mh?"
"You suck at teaching."
Hearing my words his mouth twitches. He knows that already. He was about to speak up but i did not let him.
"Midoriya needs to at least use OFA without injuries. Time is counted you know that already. You won't be able to remain the symbol of peace for long. What do you think will happen the moment you retire?"
Recovery girl and All Might were silent understanding what i meant.
"Furthermore, let me guess the person who injured you, you think he still out there right? The moment i said that blondi had a quirk that was not his to begin with, yours and the principal's face turned serious. If my guess is correct then this person can steal and give quirks right? It's clear form the signatures."
I said to All Might looking at him in the eyes. He did not say anything.
"Your silence already says everything... Then what if that person is still out there capable of injuring you like this at your peak? What do you think would happen?"
finally finding the strength to talk he opened his mouth
"Villains who were kept in check because of me will run amok..."
"Right? in that case not only Midoriya but everyone in the Heroic Branch and even the other branches must be prepared for when that time comes."
"However you are only 15 year old kids, you're too young for this."
All Might still persists. Before i could retort back, Midoriya regains consciousness.
"Where am I?"
"The infirmary. You are already healed, just change your clothes and come with me for the next lesson."
I reply to him. We're not late yet but we have little time left.
"A-Alright."
While Midoriya was changing. I approach All Might and placed my hand on his chest, where the vitality is is located.
After a minute...
"I'm ready"
Midoriya changed in his uniform.
"I already replenished the seal's vitality stock"
All Might nods.
Me and Midoriya exite the infirmary
"Now that i think about it, its the first time we are alone like this."
Midoriya said to me
'Indeed we never had a proper conversation before...'
"In that case let me introduce myself formally. My Name is Uchiha Akira, just call me Akira."
I said with a smile
"Midoriya Izuku."
"Can i call you Izuku?"
He just nods. We will need to make some things clear
"I suppose All Might told you that i know about the OFA."
"Yes, he also told me that with your sensory abilities you could help me master it."
Midoriya looked at me with anticipation
"Perhaps I can give you pointers, since the way i strengthen my body is similar to yours but not as powerful."
Chakra enhancement alone can only produce up to 25% of OFA's pure power
'If i want to do something similar in power, the use of the eight gates is required. At least the sixth Gate.'
However i don't like using the eight gates, it feels like my body is in a volcano. Thanks to sage body the after effect are none, except the volcano thing. Even with the seventh gate I don't think I can do an All Might level punch that devastates entire streets
"Still your body did not completely accommodated OFA a the moment so you need to be careful. I can only give you one advice for now... the OFA is part your body, it's not a weapon nor a super attack. you need to figure this out yourself."
Midoriya was a bit confused by my answer
'he will understand sooner or later anyway.'
We arrive 5 minutes before the next class began
"Deku-kun are you okay?"
Uraraka nearly hugged Izuku when she saw him. His face instantly turned red
"Y-yes, thanks to Akira-san I'm fine."
while Izuku was introducing himself, Yaoyorozu approached me
"Akira-san what happen to Mineta-san?"
"Obviously i refuse to heal this rat."
He will probably spent the rest of the day unconscious after this kick
