Bab 22: The Price of Chivalry

As Hercules and Morgan le Fay took their positions, the atmosphere in the Colosseum grew tense with anticipation.

The battle of raw brute power and pure magic was about to begin...

The demigod planted his feet, his club at the ready, while the sorceress's hands began to glow with eldritch energy.

"Combatants!" the Ringmaster's voice rang out. "Are you ready to shake the very foundations of mythology?"

Hercules nodded grimly, his muscles tensing for action.

But as he turned to face his opponent, his eyes widened in surprise.

"Wait," he rumbled, his voice like distant thunder. "My opponent... is a woman?"

A confused murmur ran through the crowd.

Morgan le Fay's eyes narrowed dangerously, the air around her crackling with barely contained power.

"Is that a problem, Son of Zeus?" she hissed, her voice carrying the chill of the otherworld.
