Bab 30: A Hard Hit

Jamar got home that night and headed straight for his room. The long day of intense play had left him exhausted, both mentally and physically. He felt the weight of fatigue in his muscles, a heaviness that pulled him towards his bed. Skipping dinner seemed like the best option as he trudged to the shower, hoping the warm water would offer some relief.

As the steam filled the bathroom, Jamar stood under the spray, letting the heat work its way into his aching joints. The throbbing in his knee, which had been a dull presence throughout the evening, now demanded attention. He finished his shower quickly and sat on the edge of his bed, massaging the area around his knee cap. His fingers pressed into the sore spots, seeking to alleviate some of the discomfort.
