Bab 195: Chapter 195: The First Batch of Guests Arrives
"Brother, give me a hug, let's have a heart-to-heart talk."
Under the moonlight, on the shiny white sand beach of Xiaomajia Island, a group of people staggered, singing loudly as they followed the two people at the front, with arms around each other's shoulders.
"Let's talk about these years, your hardships, my changes... yue!"
A retching sound was heard, and Chen Jianhai, smelling the foul stench, looked up at the sky speechlessly, feeling a million wild horses galloping through his mind.
Damn it, if you can't hold your liquor, why drink at all?!
Shengyu looked like Zhang Yide, but his drinking capacity was not even as good as a decent lady's. Just one bottle down, and he was already drunk, insisting on hugging him and singing "Brother, give me a hug."

Xiaopang looked at the vomit stains all over Chen Jianhai's T-shirt and shorts, then at the drool hanging from Shengyu's mouth, and his eyes filled with deep sympathy for Chen Jianhai.

After much effort, they finally got Shengyu back to his room, leaving the rest to Tangtou and the others. Chen Jianhai washed his dirty clothes and shorts and threw them into the trash.
That night, Shengyu's singing echoed throughout the entire staff dormitory.
Late into the night, Shengyu pulled Tangtou along, going door to door, kicking and shouting, "Do you accept it or not?!"
This went on until about three in the morning. Shengyu seemed to be sobering up, and being tired from the day, he fell asleep as soon as he hit the bed. The other employees had a restless night because of him.
The next day, all the hotel staff were sleepy and listless. Shengyu slept comfortably until around two in the afternoon, then woke up complaining of a headache, making everyone else grind their teeth in frustration, wishing they could strangle him.
Seeing this, Chen Jianhai was terrified. Luckily, he and Ning Youyou had agreed that the tourists would come on the third or fourth day. Otherwise, in the hotel's current state, it would be a disaster.
On the morning of the third day, the sound of his phone woke Chen Jianhai from his sleep. It was Ning Youyou.
"Boss Chen, the tour group is ready to depart. I'll personally lead this group, and we should arrive around 10 AM."
"Alright, thank you."
Chen Jianhai quickly replied, then jumped out of bed, washed up, and rushed to the lobby.
"Mengqiu, inform everyone to be ready. We're welcoming our first batch of guests today!"
"Yes, boss!"
Qin Mengqiu replied sweetly and quickly used the intercom to inform all hotel staff.
Since leaving the Langai Hotel for this new environment, Qin Mengqiu's mood had visibly improved. She smiled more, and her sweet voice had returned.
Meanwhile, Ning Youyou, leading a group of tourists to Fumanyu Wharf, was filled with anxiety.
"God bless, Boss Chen bless, let this trip go smoothly," Ning Youyou muttered to herself.
Although she trusted Chen Jianhai's character, the private resort he described was still just his description. She hadn't seen it in person. If the resort turned out to be bad or the living conditions poor, she would be in trouble if customers complained.
Then again, for 99 yuan, it wasn't much of a risk. Sigh... So difficult!

"A kid weighing 120 pounds?" the cold driver with sunglasses commented again.

The driver laughed coldly and drove the tourists toward Fumanyu Wharf.
Compared to Chen Jianhai's employees, the tourists from Lantian Travel Agency were less fortunate. The boat ride was bumpy, and the wind and waves made it a rough journey. Some passengers turned pale and clung to the railings, too scared to look at the sea.
Even Ning Youyou felt uncomfortable, trying hard to hide her nausea while comforting and encouraging the frightened tourists.
Finally, at the end of the sea, they saw a small island.
"Dear passengers! Ahead is our destination, Xiaomajia Island."
"Xiaomajia Island is named for its vest-like shape. It's a quiet, beautiful, scenic island."
Ning Youyou enthusiastically introduced the island to the tourists through a loudspeaker.
"After we land, we will go diving. Around 1 PM, we'll have lunch at the resort and then take a break. You can walk around the island to enjoy the scenery and cultural sites. At 2 PM, we'll head to the pier for fishing. We'll return to the island around 6 PM, where you can relax in the resort."
Finishing her introduction, Ning Youyou, filled with anxiety, stepped onto the unknown land...
Time flew by. Near 1 PM, following Chen Jianhai's GPS coordinates, Ning Youyou led the tourists to the island's north shore.

As soon as the tourists sat on the sofas, hotel staff brought ginger tea and snacks.
The ginger tea was specially developed by the bakery according to the island's climate. Chen Jianhai had tasted it, and it was delicious.
"Is this really a private resort and not a five-star hotel?"
The tourists were puzzled, taking the ginger tea and snacks, each one doubtful.
"Can you really stay here for 99 yuan a night?"
"Could there be hidden charges waiting for us?"

They couldn't be blamed for thinking this way—the travel agency's price was just too low. 99 yuan... You can't even get a decent rest stop for that price, yet here they could stay a night?
