The 'Pyrotechnics Artist' sat motionless on the beach at the end of Flowing Sparrow Street, as if the dazzling fireworks display above had nothing to do with her. Yet, the expression hidden beneath her mask mirrored Byron's own.

"I nearly allowed that old fox to deceive me. The pirates I assassinated before were clearly pawns meant to mislead; this one is the true predator. Redbeard is more formidable than I anticipated. Having served two terms as a councilman, he still possessed a hidden trump card that no one knew about. These veteran pirates, survivors of countless tempests, are indeed cunning old sea dogs. It will be even more challenging to target him next time."
