**At the Dungeon Site**
As we approached the dungeon entrance, Emilia's voice rang out. "The dungeon exam will now commence. Any items obtained by team members within the dungeon are the property of the team leader. You have until nine o'clock tomorrow morning. Students who return early may go home as they please. Anyone who wishes to give up may contact me using Leaks." She opened the massive door to the dungeon. "May the founder bless you."
At Emilia's signal, students rushed into the dungeon, their excitement palpable. I took my time walking in, Anos by my side.
Sasha, catching up to us, said impatiently, "We're gonna fall behind! It's first come, first served, so we can't be walking so slowly!"
"It's fine," I assured her, trying to keep my tone relaxed.
"Fine?" Sasha echoed, clearly perplexed.
"Sasha, not even the teachers were able to reach the deepest floor of the dungeon where the scepter is located. Do you think anyone can really get that far?" I asked, a hint of skepticism in my voice.
"Yes. There's no way anyone could easily reach the founder's treasury room," Sasha admitted, her tone resigned.
"Yes, I've placed many traps and canceling magic in that place. I even developed countermeasures for Gatom and magic eyes," Anos added, his voice filled with a sense of pride.
Sasha glanced at me and Anos, her expression thoughtful, while Misha clapped softly. We then entered the dungeon, the cool air enveloping us as we proceeded.
The dungeon was alive with the sounds of combat and magic as students who had gone before us defeated the monsters. The path was clear for us, thanks to their efforts.
"Take a right here," Anos instructed. He then headbutted a wall with surprising force, causing it to crumble and create a hole in the shape of his body.
"Huuuh?!" Sasha cried out in astonishment.
"He's sturdy..." Misha commented, her eyes wide with amazement.
"Pffft," I laughed, shaking my head. "Anos, next time punch the wall instead of headbutting it. You'd look cooler."
"But that was the style in the mythical age," he replied, unperturbed.
"Hahaha," I laughed, and even Misha and Sasha chuckled at him.
"You're talking about something that was popular 2000 years ago. Maybe you should read some magazines to catch up on present-day knowledge."
"I'll do that. It seems my knowledge of the present is lacking," Anos said, a hint of embarrassment in his voice.
"That would be better," Sasha agreed, smirking slightly.
"Yes," Misha added.
After clearing enough of the dungeon walls by walking through them, we arrived at a spacious hidden chamber. It led to the lowest floor of the dungeon.
"Sunlight..." Misha murmured, her voice filled with wonder.
"That's right. This room was designed to let in sunlight during the day and moonlight at night," Anos explained, his tone proud.
We soon reached the room with the altar. Anos approached the door, which was heavily fortified with magic defenses and anti-magic. Using his sheer physical strength, he pushed it open.
Sasha attempted to push the door as well but found it immovable.
She looked really cute doing that. Karna thought. Her frustration was evident.
"How did you manage to move it?" Sasha asked Anos, her voice tinged with annoyance.
"I train every day," Anos replied simply.
"In what dimension would training allow you to do this?" Sasha muttered to herself, clearly baffled.
"More importantly, the item you're after is over there," Anos said, pointing toward a pedestal.
"That's... the scepter, right?" Sasha asked, her eyes wide as she activated her Magic Eyes. The immense power contained within the scepter was unmistakable.
"full marks," Misha said.
"Say... can I touch it?" Sasha asked, her voice filled with a mix of awe and anticipation.
"Go ahead," Anos replied with a nod.
As Sasha and Misha examined the scepter, Anos and I made our way to the altar room, which was filled with artifacts and weapons from the mythical age.
"Choose what you want," Anos said, gesturing to the array of items.
I picked out the Phoenix Mantle and the Lotus Ice Ring, two artifacts known for their unique properties.
"Your picks are good," Anos praised, his approval evident.
We then returned to where Sasha and Misha were.
"Hey, where did you guys go?" Sasha complained, holding the scepter to her chest and pouting slightly. Her usual tsundere demeanor is nowhere seen.
"Oh, it's nothing, but here, I have something for you," I said, stepping forward with a smile, unable to contain my excitement.
I walked towards them and presented the Phoenix Mantle to Sasha and the Lotus Ice Ring to Misha. Their eyes widened in surprise.
"It's your birthday tomorrow, Sasha-chan, Misha-chan," I said energetically, my voice filled with anticipation.
Sasha and Misha, caught off guard by the sudden gesture, smiled genuinely at me. "This is one hell of an item..." Sasha said while hugging the mantle close. "I'll treasure it forever. Thank you."
Misha, her eyes sparkling with joy, echoed softly, "Thank you."
"Hey, why don't you try it on? Misha can help you while I take Anos outside," I suggested, hoping they would enjoy their gifts even more once they put them on.
Both Necron sisters nodded, and I led Anos outside.
"So, do you love them?" Anos asked as we walked, a knowing look in his eyes.
"Yeah, I love them. They are so innocent. If I didn't protect them, then maybe someone would take advantage of them," I replied, my voice filled with conviction.
< that person is standing front of me. Karna thought while looking at Anos>
"That's a new way of saying it," Anos said with an amused expression, chuckling at my protective nature.
<The way he looked at them, it doesn't seem that he works for Avos Dilhevia,> Anos thought, observing his sincere affection for the sisters.
After five minutes, I walked back into the treasure vault, leaving Anos behind.
They were talking happily with each other, their faces glowing with excitement. I approached them with a grin.
"Hey, you entered without knocking. What if we were changing?" Sasha said, her tone playful yet slightly indignant.
"It's not like I haven't seen anything," I replied with the intention of teasing her.
Sasha's face turned red like an apple, and I even had the urge to bite it, while Misha's ears turned crimson.
I then took Misha into my arms and kissed her, our tongues intertwining. Her quiet demeanor melted away, replaced by a tender passion.
"Hold out your hand," I said softly after our kiss.
Misha extended her left hand, looking at me with curiosity.
I placed the Ice Lotus Ring on her ring finger, watching her eyes widen in amazement. "This is the happiest moment of my life," Misha whispered, her voice filled with emotion.
"Don't worry, from now on, every day will be a happy one," I assured her, my heart swelling with affection.
This time, she took the initiative and gave me a peck on my lips, her shy nature momentarily forgotten.
Sasha pouted while watching us, perhaps feeling a twinge of jealousy because I gave misha a ring.
"No need to be jealous. Come here," I called out to her with a gentle smile.
"Who wants your kiss?" she said, but still, she came closer to me.
There was still a distance between us, so I used telekinesis to bring her into my arms.
"Kyaa! What?" she exclaimed as she saw herself floating.
"Forget it, I'll allow you to kiss me today," Sasha said with a smug expression, trying to maintain her tsundere facade.
"Why has her attitude changed from tsundere to tsundere queen?" I thought, amused by her antics.
She finished her sentence, and our lips met, the kiss turning passionate almost instantly.
After the kiss, I looked at her beautiful face. "My Sasha is already this proactive now. You're making me fall for you even further."
"Curb that tongue of yours, idiot," she replied, her embarrassment evident.
Misha laughed at our antics, her quiet voice carrying a hint of mirth.
We then joined Anos and arrived at the entrance of the dungeon by 9 am, submitting the scepter to Emilia and shocking everyone, including the staff members.
They fed us some story about having to perform an inspection to see if it was genuine, so they'd be keeping it for a while.
Because the exam was planned to end at dawn on the second day, there were no classes planned, so we could all rest.
It was ideal for a birthday party.
**A/N:** Well, a birthday party should be a happy moment. So, maybe I shouldn't add R18 scenes to it. What do you think? Comment your thoughts below.
