Then they gestured as though they were about to strike the children with it.

Wen Jingshu's expression changed slightly, and she immediately intervened, "What is the meaning of this?"

Madam He's smile was insincere as she explained to Wen Jingshu, "After all, some people are visiting this family home for the first time. This old mansion has been here for many years. If something unclean or unlucky has entered, it would be troublesome if our old lady were to be offended."
