"War God, save me!"
As Raymond's desperate roar echoed, the very space around them quaked and rumbled. A figure clad in battle armor with a blood-red cloak appeared beside Raymond.
The arrival of this heroic figure caused both Elysia and the Archdemon to tense up, their expressions turning grave.
The pressure emanating from her was suffocating.
The War God!
It was actually the War God from the legends, who had ascended to the ranks of a Celestial God!
"Stop! Raymond is under my protection. How dare you try to kill him?"
The newly appeared female War God cast a cold glance at Owen, her voice carrying a tone of absolute authority.
But before she even finished speaking, Owen didn't halt his attack. Instead, he accelerated, swinging the Supreme Sword even faster.
"Owen! How dare you! The War God herself has intervened, and yet you still act so brazenly!"
The black eye was as deep as the night, capable of devouring everything, pulling all things into oblivion.
The white eye was as pure as the brightest light, banishing all evil and impurity.
Just looking at him, Owen felt his heart surge with turbulence. Even though the entity’s aura was restrained to the extreme, it was still far more terrifying than the War God’s!
And his unique form made Owen recognize him at a glance.
The God of Light and Darkness, the ruler who governed the trajectories of the stars—the Lord of Stars!
He was also one of the rebellious Celestial Gods who had once challenged the Will of Heaven, a figure of legend!
Owen never imagined that such a legendary Celestial God would be slumbering within the Demon Abyss!
The Archdemon and Elysia recognized the Lord of Stars as well, their mouths agape as they subconsciously bowed in respect.
After all, the Lord of Stars was one of the ancient Celestial Gods worshipped by the Demon Realm.
After awakening, the Lord of Stars immediately focused on the War God and Owen, his colossal form shrinking until it was no different from an ordinary human’s.
“War God, you have overstepped.”
Standing beside her, the Lord of Stars looked at her indifferently.
Even though he had been in slumber, he was vaguely aware of the events transpiring in the Demon Abyss.
For an elder Celestial God like her to personally act against a mere junior like Owen—it was a breach of etiquette.
“He defied my divine command. Striking against him is not overstepping!”
The War God shook her head slightly. She knew she was no match for the Lord of Stars, but if she didn’t receive a proper explanation from Owen, she would not let this matter go.
The Lord of Stars spoke lightly: “He merely killed one of your chosen mortal champions. Owen is a thousand times more talented. What’s there to regret?”
The War God frowned, unable to comprehend why the Lord of Stars was defending Owen.
She didn’t deny Owen’s extraordinary talent, but as a Celestial God who had witnessed countless eras, she had seen countless prodigies. Owen was just a larger wave in an endless river of geniuses.
