As Delilah drove them back toward Hunter's office, a quiet chuckle escaped Hunter, and he leaned back, watching her with an amused expression.
Delilah glanced over, one eyebrow raised. "What's so funny?"
He shook his head, still grinning. "I didn't expect you to take the money. I thought you would turn it down. You don't say no to money, do you?"
Delilah shrugged, her lips quirking up. "Why would I turn it down? They offered, and besides, I intend to hold up my end of the bargain— keeping quiet, that is. But that doesn't mean I'm saying 'no' to a generous offer."
Hunter's grin widened as he shook his head again. "All right then, smart lady, what exactly do you plan to do with all that money?"
She tilted her head thoughtfully. "Hmm, I'm not sure yet, but I'm pretty confident I'll find some good use for it."
