Hunter hummed a cheerful tune as he organized the office wears Delilah had gotten him in his closet,

He couldn't help but grin as the events of the day replayed in his mind and he thought about the kiss with Delilah. The look on her face, the way she had responded— it was all too satisfying.

Done with organizing the clothes, he freshened up and prepared for bed. Just as he got on the bed, his phone buzzed on the nightstand, and he glanced at it, expecting a call from Damon.

But the name on the screen made him pause. Sabrina? His younger sister rarely called at this hour unless she was in the country.

He picked up the phone, curiosity piqued. "Bree? What's up?"

"Hunter, you absolute moron!" Her voice was sharp, laced with irritation. "Why haven't you bothered to call me?"

He chuckled, leaning back against the headboard. "I didn't realize you missed me so much."
