Bab 25: Chapter 25 Too Soft-hearted

Chen Xi's skin was smooth and tender, feeling like top-quality silk satin when touched.

That tactile sensation fascinated everyone.

Chu Yang applied pressure evenly, each inch of force just right, stimulating Chen Xi's fascia and mobilizing the qi-blood within her body.

Chen Xi's face turned red and hot, the redness spreading to the base of her neck and even tinting her skin slightly.

She kept her eyes tightly closed, yet she enjoyed all of this immensely, to Chen Xi it felt as if she was simultaneously in heaven and hell.

Whew.

Chu Yang took a breath, wiped the sweat from his forehead, and pulled out a packet of disposable acupuncture needles from his pocket. He tore open the package, took out nine needles, and tucked them between his fingers. With a flick of his palm, he hid the needles away.

This was called concealing the needles, to prevent patients who might faint at the sight of them.
