Bab 111: Breakfast Date

Mira paused for a moment, panic filling her eyes as she hurriedly spoke to her grandfather. "What about little Zami's food?" she asked, frustration creeping into her voice. How had she gotten so caught up in her own thoughts that she'd forgotten about everything else?

"Her dad has everything covered," her grandpa finally replied, waving his hand dismissively, as if to say, Let this old man enjoy his news in peace.

It was then that Mira realized he had referred to Zamian as "dad" instead of just "Zamian." Did this mean he didn't mind or, even more surprising, that he supported Mira getting back together with Zamian—her husband? A wave of emotions washed over her. She sighed, turning toward her bedroom, trying to make sense of the mixed signals swirling in her mind.
