Bab 10: Ice Coffin
Darui quickly formed seals with his hands, black lightning flashing, as he rushed towards Tosaka.
His idea was very simple. Facing two powerful enemies, they have to quickly reduce the numbers.
However, generally speaking, he still thinks that Tosaka is more difficult to deal with, after all in Tosaka's first move he froze the entire ocean.
And the masked man...
He just released a Summoning beast.
If Tosaka is left alone, the Allied Shinobi Forces might be defeated.
"The pressure this man puts on me...is more than an angry Raikage-sama." Darui started feel a litle heavy in his heart.

Freezing Flow
Any Ice Jutsu that starts with Freezing Flow prioritizes speed.
However, the name "Ice Coffin" alone attests to the formidable power of the Jutsu.
If Tosaka Tsukishita were to unleash the full strength of the Jutsu and execute the complete version of the Ice Coffin, the Gedo Statue would be completely frozen.
Yet, the full version of the Ice Coffin spreads too slowly, which would give the Gedo Statue a chance to break free.
A Freezing Flow Ice Jutsu is extraordinary fast
Compared to the normal Ice Coffin which takes a couple seconds, with Freezing Flow the Jutsu is completed in an instant.
Therefore, the moment Tosaka's palm touched the Gedo Statue, it had already turned into a block of ice.
Standing in front of Gedo Statue, Chōji was dumbfounded.
Darui, who had been watching Tosaka, was also dumbfounded.
The whole of the Allied Shinobi Forces was dumbfounded.
The battlefield fell silent for a moment.
The ice on Tosaka's body gradually faded away, and what followed was the iconic slightly opened mouth, exhaling a mouthful of cold air.

As early as when the Gedo Statue was instantly frozen by Tosaka, the masked man had already noticed Tosaka's intention.

'I didn't expect him to be this strong... Konoha's Eternal Ice!' The masked man's expression, though hidden beneath his mask, twisted with displeasure.
But, the next moment, his Sharingan spun at high speed, and he instantly distorted into the air.
The purpose of his trip was to take away the ninja treasure that had sealed the Gold and Silver brothers. He only needed the Nine Tails' Chakra from these two brothers. As long as he got the Nine Tails' Chakra, the masked man's goal could be achieved.
His plan was to exploit the distraction caused by everyone's focus on the Gedo Statue and Tosaka.
Darui, who was originally guarding the sealing treasure, left his place long ago in order to try to stop Tosaka.
Meanwhile, nobody was keeping watch of the sealing treasure.

Shikamaru held onto the hand seal with both hands and explained: "You already have the chakra of the first eight tailed beasts! You've collected them all from the One Tail to the Seven Tails, and only the Eight Tails remains. Although your plan to capture the Eight Tails failed, you still managed to bring back one of its legs."
"After obtaining the leg, you no longer needed to pursue the Eight Tails, so I came to the conclusion that the next thing you need is... the Nine Tails' chakra!"
"And now, Nine Tails' chakra has conveniently appeared on the first battlefield! Your arrival here confirms that my analysis is entirely... correct!"
Shikamaru felt that the other person was struggling against his jutsu, but he still forced a smile and kept his hand seal stable.
