Roger took a step forward, and this time Anna appeared incredibly clear in his line of sight—so much so that she could almost, no, she could even be said to be indistinguishable from an ordinary person.
"What did you remember?" Roger asked.
Anna shook her head.
"A lot, it's all jumbled up, and I can't even tell if some of the memories are actually mine."
She looked down at her hands, "I might have done many bad things."
"Like grave digging?" Roger joked.
"So you knew all along."
Anna glanced at Roger.
"After all, it's just recycling waste. Don't overthink it. If you can remember something from back then, we might be able to follow that clue to find the other parts of your body."
Having obtained the right leg bone, Roger felt that the strength of his female neighbor had explosively increased.
At that moment, Anna also saw the portrait in the corner of the wall.
"Is this really me?"
She frowned, "Why don't I have any impression of it?"
