At the foot of Jade Spring Mountain, Jade Spring Square.
Chen Mu walked on the busy, flourishing streets.
Underfoot was a smooth bluestone floor, with tidy shops on either side.
Men and women dressed in various fashions went in and out of the shops.
Haggling over prices, the calls of vendors and greetings were an incessant din.
Had it not been for the towering Jade Spring Mountain in the north, Chen Mu almost thought he was back in the T-shaped area of Heavenly River Water Mansion.
"The changes are truly great," Chen Mu couldn't help but sigh.
Two months had passed since he had last come down the mountain, and those temporary wooden huts they had lived in had been torn down.
In their place stood rows of neat courtyards with green tiles and white walls.
"I really should come down the mountain more often," Chen Mu remarked curiously, looking left and right, "Otherwise, I wouldn't even realize how the world has changed."
