"Mr. Chen, I was just joking. Please don't take it to heart. Allow me a moment to get ready, and then we can go have dinner?" Diana eased the awkwardness in a timely manner.

"Sure, do you need me to step out?" Chen Wei thought that perhaps Diana needed to change clothes, and this lounge didn't have a separate dressing room.

"If it's not too much trouble, could you please turn around, Mr. Chen? I need to change my clothes." Indeed, Diana felt that going out to dinner with Chen Wei in her current attire would make it seem like she wasn't sincere enough.

In dealing with her lifesaver, Diana was willing to rack her brains and fret over every little detail.

"Alright, of course, only... before I..." Chen Wei began, approaching Diana as he spoke.

Oh my god! He couldn't possibly be thinking of!

Diana instinctively raised her hands to protect herself, looking at Chen Wei with a hint of wariness, her heels lifted, ready to retreat and create distance at any moment.
