Five minutes later, two guests on the fifteenth floor of the hotel simultaneously pushed their doors open.

Looking up, they locked eyes and were momentarily stunned.

Dressed in dark casual attire, Jing Yu stood at the doorway, his tall frame complemented by the tousled hair on his forehead that suggested a recent shower, adding an air of easygoing charm to his sharply handsome features.

At that moment, his hand resting on the doorknob, his gaze upon Tang Shu paused.

A flicker of surprise in his deep, dark eyes vanished in an instant, soon replaced by calmness, and he parted his lips to speak:

"Miss Tang."

Tang Shu closed the door behind her and stood firm.

"Mr. Jing?"

Though it was a question, there was a hint of certainty in her voice.

She recalled the seating area outside the movie theater in the mall where they had established an acquaintance over a drink without exchanging names.
