Inside his helmet, Iron Man had already turned off the visual system to avoid looking at Black Shuck directly.
"Jarvis, confirm that the big dog is right in front of me."
"Yes, sir, it is 88 meters directly ahead of you. If you fire now, it could easily dodge."
Jarvis responded.
Tony Stark relied entirely on Jarvis as his eyes to combat Black Shuck, with his suit's visual system disabled.
"Excellent."
Just as Tony spoke, he felt an intense heat from in front of him and instinctively took off, narrowly avoiding a blast of fire.
"Roar!"
Black Shuck, seeing an iron man blocking its path, was furious and charged at Tony, continuously spewing flames.
"Sir, ascend immediately to avoid the flames and create distance."
Following Jarvis's instructions, Tony flew upward, dodging the fire.
"Black Shuck is at a 45-degree angle to your left on the ground. I recommend a barrage of missiles."
"Thank you, Jarvis."
Tony aimed at the 45-degree angle, launching a series of mini-missiles and pulse blasts, bombarding Black Shuck.
The explosive force sent Black Shuck flying, crashing heavily to the ground but quickly recovering and leaping up.
It rammed into nearby vehicles, sending them flying towards Tony.
"Sir! A barrage of cars is incoming. Retreat immediately."
"Shit!"
Tony cursed as he flew backward to avoid the incoming cars.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
The cars collided with tremendous force, and Tony saw that Black Shuck was using the cars as stepping stones to rapidly approach him.
Before Jarvis could warn him, Black Shuck had already leaped onto Tony's back, biting down on the neck of his Mark suit.
"Crunch, crunch."
The immense bite force began to stress the suit's space-grade materials, causing creaking sounds. Ordinary metal would have been bitten through.
"Ah-ha! Got you!"
Tony flipped over, grabbing Black Shuck with both hands and flying towards the ground.
"Jarvis, channel all power to the arms!"
"Yes, sir!"
Tony felt his arm strength increase significantly and forcibly tore Black Shuck off, slamming it into the ground.
"Boom!!!"
The impact created a sizable crater and cracks in the cement.
Black Shuck was dazed, blood oozing from its mouth.
"Looks like you can be beaten after all!"
Excited by Jarvis's report, Tony relentlessly punched Black Shuck's head.
"Time to sleep, bad dog!"
Tony cursed while gathering the suit's energy into his chest, ready to finish Black Shuck with a powerful pulse blast.
"Awroo!"
Black Shuck suddenly roared, biting Tony's arm just before the punch landed.
"Ah?"
Tony was momentarily stunned.
"Sir, if you could see its expression, you'd notice it filled with hatred and anger," Jarvis reported.
"Would apologizing help now?"
Tony asked, half-joking.
"Awroo!!"
Black Shuck howled fiercely, lifting Tony and slamming him into the ground repeatedly.
Tony felt every bone in his body was about to shatter as he was violently shaken and slammed around.
"Jarvis, tell me the best time to fire!"
Tony yelled in pain.
"Sir, under these conditions, it's impossible to hit it."
Jarvis's voice was anxious, unable to calculate an optimal firing time.
Tony was being flung around like Loki in his famous scene, except his opponent was a giant black dog, making the situation comically absurd.
"Hurry up and calculate!"
Tony spoke with a clenched jaw, fearing he'd bite his tongue.
Jarvis quickly analyzed Black Shuck's movements to determine the best timing.
"Fire in one second."
"Fire!"
Tony fired the pulse blast from his chest, which had been charged with 80% of his suit's energy, unleashing a powerful beam.
"Boom!!!"
A blinding light erupted, and the shockwave sent cars flying and caused the ground to collapse.
Tony, encased in his Mark suit, was launched from the explosion, crashing heavily to the ground and immediately buried under falling cars.
Using the last of his energy, Tony struggled to move the cars off himself and stand up.
"My back... I hope it's still functional."
Tony groaned, feeling like his body was falling apart with each step.
"Jarvis, scan for the dog. I can't believe it survived that."
Tony commanded.
"Bang!"
A moment later, two cars were knocked aside, and Black Shuck slowly emerged, looking nothing like its previous fearsome self.
Its body was covered in severe, blistering wounds, exposing its skeleton.
"Growl."
Black Shuck's eyes glared with immense hatred at Tony. Since arriving in this world, it had never suffered such injuries.
"Whimper."
Black Shuck staggered, enduring the pain, its venomous gaze fixed on Tony, wishing to tear him apart.
"Jarvis, how much energy do I have left? Enough to finish it?"
Tony asked urgently.
"Sir, less than 15% remains. It's unlikely to be enough."
Jarvis replied.
"Fine. Concentrate all remaining energy into my fists. I'll knock this dog out with one punch!"
