After days of rest, Esteria and Celene finally recovered from their injuries. The tension that had weighed heavy in the air dissipated, and both women could feel a renewed strength as they sat quietly in their shared room. The soft light from the flickering candles danced across the walls, casting long shadows around them as they exchanged few words but felt a deep understanding between each other.

A knock echoed at the door, breaking the silence. Taurius entered, his presence commanding yet filled with an unusual softness. He glanced between the two of them, a shadow of guilt in his eyes as he addressed them.

"I apologize," Taurius began, his voice low but filled with sincerity. "For what Alariel has done. You both deserved better, and this should never have happened. If there is anything you need—any replacement for your team—I can make arrangements."
