Bab 45: Catching fish

"I will get the poison ready, someone else should figure out how to lure in Veronica's maid." Someone offered.

"That is unnecessary, I will intercept it myself. I offered to personally bring her tea plants, hoping that this would allow me to gain access to the Alpha King's heart. Who knew it would be useful now?" The youngest consort said.

"Then it is settled," and they all returned to their rooms.

In one particular room.

Tessa, who had just entered the wrong room, kept looking around, attempting to figure out where she was. She could barely see her surroundings, but the scent the room produced was so appealing that she did not want to leave.

"The cat has gone astray again." Elias muttered, gazing at her from the bed.

"Ah, it is that bastard's voice. Capture him for me, and I will kill him." She said, pointing her hands at no one, before staggering to the floor and falling flat.

"Such a cute nickname you have for me," he said.
