Bab 44: Poison her

Tessa was still in shock and had not spoken to him since they arrived in his room. She unconsciously touched her lips and remembered how warm his kiss was, causing her face to flush again.

Walking up to her, Elias was about to speak when she suddenly covered her mouth and moved away from him.

"It is enough, do not want another one." She spoke, perplexing him.

Raising an eyebrow at her, he drew his gaze to the maids in his room before returning to her, causing her to mutter, "Oh," and hate herself even more.

"They will prepare you for dinner. You look…" He started, but stopped when he could not find the right word to describe how rough she looked presently.

She did not even bother changing into new clothes.

"Look what?" Glaring at him, she questioned, but he simply turned to the maids and said, "You have twenty minutes to get her ready," before leaving the room.
