Bab 43: Kiss me

"Have you had enough fun?" A familiar voice inquired, and Tessa had never been happier to see Elias.

"You came at the right time," she said sarcastically, throwing the dagger to the ground.

"From the mouth of the one who fled? Are you suddenly sad because your crew has betrayed you?" He teased as he approached her.

"You wish," she said, spitting out the blood that had managed to enter her mouth. She noticed Elias had stopped and appeared to be looking at something behind her, so she turned, widening her eyes as she saw the brown wolf she thought she had killed approaching her.

"Watch out!!" Elias yelled.

"Oh, motherfucker!" Shielding herself from the impact, she cursed and dropped to her knees, expecting to be scratched but feeling nothing after a second.

She opened her eyes and looked around for the wolf, only to be stunned to see Elias standing on it in bloody clothes.
