Bab 63: Two Birds with One Stone

Haah~ So many backs to stab, so little time to do the stabbing.

Rosa's thoughts were quite malicious on her way back to the Diplomatic Affairs hall. She had completed her tasks for the day, yet she still needed to return to the hall to sign her attendance before leaving. All the malice evaporated the moment she took the first step into the hall.

What's all this? 

It took only one glance for her hand to reflexively move toward her heart and press where she felt the warmth. Her once organized space was now heaped with a variety of gifts: silk scarves dyed in reds and blues, vials of perfumes, wooden boxes filled with exotic spices, and small pouches containing gemstones. However, the items that caught her eye the most were the traditional desert sweets wrapped in golden foil.
