Chapter 79: An Outrageous Kiss from an Outrageous Man
As Natsuhane looked down at the bewildered Orochimaru in his arms, he suddenly felt an urge to do something he'd been contemplating ever since discovering Orochimaru's pregnancy.
"Orochimaru, don't move. I need to see for myself if you're truly a woman now," Natsuhane said, his hands slowly drifting down from her waist.
"Wait! What are you doing?" Orochimaru snapped, her voice filled with both shock and anger.
Finding his target, Natsuhane gave a light pat. His eyes widened as he felt the void. It was true. Orochimaru had completely transformed.
Orochimaru seethed with rage, "I'm going to kill you, Natsuhane!"
Natsuhane, however, seemed pleased and teased, "Keep it down. We don't want to distract them from their fight, do we? If you keep yelling, I'll have to kiss you."
"Ha… You think I'll just let you do whatever you want? Mm…! Natsuhane, you…!!" Orochimaru's protest was cut short as Natsuhane silenced her with a sudden, forceful kiss.
Her first kiss was stolen.
As their lips parted, Orochimaru stared in shock, her eyes unfocused.
Was she in awe or simply stunned?
"He… He's serious?" Orochimaru thought, her mind swirling with disbelief. The flood of feminine hormones overtook what little was left of her masculine essence.
Natsuhane carefully set Orochimaru down on a clean stone step. She was silent, her spirit seemingly scattered after Natsuhane's audacious actions. She remained in a daze, struggling to process what had just happened.
"Who am I? Where am I? What just happened to me…?"
Meanwhile, the battle continued. Despite being resurrected with reduced power, Hashirama and Tobirama were still formidable opponents for Tsunade and Gamabunta. More so because their Edo Tensei bodies made them nearly invincible.
Tsunade was holding back, her movements cautious. She engaged in close combat only when absolutely necessary to avoid any injuries. The sight of her own blood would trigger her hemophobia, rendering her useless and turning her into a liability.
Understanding Tsunade's plight, Gamabunta took the brunt of the attacks, shielding her whenever possible.
"Jiraiya! Are you done yet? I can't hold on much longer," Gamabunta panted, his body covered in wounds. He fought valiantly against the two Hokage, even washing his wounds clean to prevent Tsunade from seeing blood. Despite his tough exterior, he was a meticulous and caring toad.
Jiraiya's eyes sharpened as he called out, "Finished! Thanks for holding out, Gamabunta!"
"Summoning Jutsu!"
With a puff of smoke, two small figures appeared on Jiraiya's shoulders.
"Sage Art: Sage Mode!"
Jiraiya's face began to change, his muscles shifting, his eyes transforming into frog-like pupils. Bumps appeared on his face, giving him a frog-like appearance.
As the smoke cleared, the figures on his shoulders were revealed—two small, elderly toads, Fukasaku and Shima, the Two Great Sage Toads of Mount Myoboku.
Jiraiya greeted them respectfully, "Boss, Ma'am, it's been a while…"
Shima scolded, "Jiraiya boy, what's this place? Summoning us without any warning—I was in the middle of cooking!"
Jiraiya chuckled awkwardly, "Sorry, Ma'am."
Fukasaku intervened, "Ma, don't be too harsh. If Jiraiya summoned us in such a hurry, it must be important. Besides, didn't you always say this form isn't flattering to girls?"
Jiraiya sighed, "I have no choice. My opponents are extremely tough this time…"
Shima scoffed, "What could be so tough that you need our help? Have you gotten weaker, Jiraiya?"
"No, it's not that," Jiraiya explained. "My opponents are the First and Second Hokage."
"What?" The two elder toads were shocked. They saw Hashirama and Tobirama battling Tsunade, who was clearly struggling to keep up.
"These are… Edo Tensei bodies?" Fukasaku observed.
Shima nodded, "Definitely."
As ancient beings, the Sage Toads were familiar with the forbidden Edo Tensei technique.
"Who could've learned such a dangerous jutsu?" Fukasaku wondered.
Jiraiya sighed, "An old classmate of mine—Orochimaru…"
Shima huffed, "That snake kid again? I never liked him."
Jiraiya added, "She's a woman now… and pregnant."
Fukasaku and Shima were speechless.
After a moment, they said in unison, "You humans are something else. This is mind-blowing…"
"It's mind-blowing here too!" Jiraiya responded. "Now, Ma'am, Boss! Tsunade can't hold out much longer. Let's go!"
"Gamabunta, you did well. Go rest and heal."
"Boom!"
Jiraiya kicked off his wooden sandals, crouched low, and as his hands and feet transformed further, his speed and strength reached their peak in Sage Mode.
With a powerful leap, he landed in front of Tsunade.
"Hey, Tsunade! I'm here to help. Just forget about how I look now. I don't want you to remember me like this…"
"You… You're Jiraiya?" Tsunade was stunned. Jiraiya's appearance and chakra were completely different in Sage Mode.
Jiraiya smiled, "Yes, it's me. Hashirama-sama, Tobirama-sama…"
"From now on, I'll be your opponent."
