Chapter 13:- Left eye
He suddenly found himself in a strange empty space. "Where the hell am I? This place is weird. Wait..... is that a PC?!"
Slowly, he walked over to the PC and saw Danzo's picture on the screen. "So..... I'm in his head or something? This place must've modeled itself through my subconscious. That's why instead of something like a library or just seeing it directly, I have a computer that I'm supposed to use to look into his mind." He murmured as he took a look at the files in the PC but didn't open any.
He stumbled upon a file with Itachi's face on it and opened it to see all the inside details of Itachi and the Uchiha massacre, from Danzo's perspective of course. But the moment he closed the file, he was out of the strange place and back in the real world.
"What's wrong? Weren't you going to use your left eye's ability on him?" Akane asked.
'So the flow of time inside the mind works similar to tsukuyomi. Time doesn't flow freely inside it. I need to do it again.' He used the jutsu again and this time, he didn't open any files. He just looked at the titles for a while, much longer than the first time.
He found a file that had Hiruzen Sarutobi's face as the cover and when he looked inside, let's just say he wanted to gouge his eyes out. "OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!! MY EYES! MY EYES!" Well, if someone saw an old guy jacking off to another old guy's photo, anyone would have this kind of a reaction. Quickly, he closed the file and was instantly sent out of Danzo's mind. 'Disgusting!' He quickly composed himself, in order to not let Akane find out about this unholy information.
'So I'm able to only see one single file at a time. I'm almost out of chakra!' He fell to his knees, holding his bleeding left eye in pain.
"Hey, what happened?!" Akane asked with concern.
"My.... my left eye. It's a form of mind reading. I can enter his mind and see information I want to. But I can't see too much. And it consumes a lot of chakra, although still less than my right eye's ability." Kenshin explained as Kakashi, Guy and a few other Jonin appeared.
"What happened?" Kakashi asked before his gaze went to the unconscious and armless Danzo. "His arms.... they're gone! What did you do?!"
"I'll tell you later, Kakashi-san. Take him to the hokage for Inoichi-san to extract information about his crimes. I knocked him out but still, be careful." Kenshin said as Akane helped him get up.
Akane handed Kakashi Danzo's right arm, which now only had five sharingan left. "He took these sharingan from the corpses of Uchiha after the massacre. He destroyed half of them but I was able to stop him before he could destroy all of them."
Kakashi and the other Jonin's eyes widened in shock as they saw the arm containing the several sharingan.
"I was also able to take Shisui's eye back from him. But I'm keeping this. This eye should be buried with Shisui." Akane said before putting Shisui's eye in her pouch.
Kakashi didn't say anything. This whole night, no, the past 60 hours had been way too much for him to process. A shinobi from the hidden rain with blood ties to the leaf and the Uchiha, came to them to get his dying mother treated. But when they couldn't and his mother died, he awakened his mangekyo sharingan and brought the woman back to life. Kakashi's former student turned out to be the elder sister of that boy and in the same day, he learns that the two were abducted by a respected elder of the leaf, Danzo Shimura. That Danzo was revealed to possess sharingan stolen from dead Uchiha and now he lay in front of him, armless and unconscious.
"Guy, take him to the hokage for Inoichi-san to do his work on him. I'll be right behind you with those two." Guy took Danzo and went to the hokage's office with the other Jonin there. But when Kenshin and Akane tried to follow them, Kakashi stopped them.
"Guys, please. Tell me everything. What can your mangekyo do? You can trust me, I'm not gonna tell anyone. But I need to know." He said, putting his hands on their shoulders.
Akane and Kenshin looked at each other, unsure of whether to tell him or not. But eventually, they decided to trust him, knowing his character.
Akane took a deep breath before speaking. "My right eye, it can cause a person's body to decay, regardless of the healing jutsu or anything else cast on their body. And my left eye can use what I think is an invisible hand, to attack an opponent only once. That's it."
"Mine isn't resurrection. My right eye can heal injuries including a stopped heart, as long as the target's brain is active. If their heart is not beating, I see a faint white light that gets dimmer by the second. If they're alive, I see a faint blue light that slowly becomes white if the injury is fatal. And my left eye, it's an abridged version of mind reading. I can't access too much information though." Kenshin explained, still fighting the pain in his eyes although he could feel his vision slowly returning to normal.
"I understand. I'm glad you trust me." Kakashi said with a warm smile.
"By the way, Kakashi-sensei." Akane said suddenly. "Do you have the mangekyo sharingan? Since we've told you ours, you should tell us yours."
"I do. It's a space-time ninjutstu. I can teleport a targeted item or person into a separate space. But I can't access said space." Kakashi said before they headed to the hokage's office.
