Bab 43: The Deflection

It was a common thing for Talindra. She had seen Drelduin eat meat before, raw meat. She had enjoyed her meals with him. As all the factions of the creatures were out in the open in world, everyone's eating habits too were out in the world. In fact, blood and meat supply was a big business in the world.

After they had dinner, Drelduin dumped the dirty plates in the sink for his cleaning crew. They would come in the morning and clean it for him.

"Why did you eat so little?" scolded Drelduin.

"I didn't want to," pouted Talindra.

"Sweetie! You drank a lot, your body needs food and water. You will have a terrible hangover in the morning," educated Drelduin.

"But if I eat, I will puke and you will have to clean it," warned Talindra.

"Fine, you win. Let's go to sleep. You need rest," stated Drelduin.

"You will sleep next to me, right?" inquired Talindra.

"Of course, I am not going anywhere," replied Drelduin.
